Frequently asked questions
Do I need CCTV or special hardware?
No. An ordinary USB webcam or the camera already at your packing table is enough. IP cameras over RTSP work too if you already have them.
Does VMS record returns as well as packing?
Yes, in both directions. The forward video is captured when you pack and dispatch, and the return video when the parcel comes back and is opened. Both sit against the same Tracking ID.
Can several packing stations record at the same time?
Yes. Any number of PCs can record into the same account in parallel, and everything lands in the same searchable set keyed by Tracking ID.
How long are my videos kept?
Cloud copies are kept for 90 days by default. After that the video and screenshots are removed, and the record and its details stay. Download or share anything you need to keep for longer.
What if the internet drops while I am recording?
Recordings are saved on the PC first and uploaded in the background, so a network drop does not lose a clip.
How do I send proof to a courier or marketplace?
Download the video, or the video and its screenshots in one package, or copy a share link to send. Links can be revoked later.
Can I record for an earlier date?
Yes. You can select the date for a recording.
How do I find a video quickly?
Search by the tracking or AWB number or the order in the recordings grid, and filter by date.
